Pioneered femtosecond lasers in ophthalmology and led product development at LenSx, which was acquired by Alcon for $730M.
Former Chief Technology Officer at Cutera. Developed and launched Enlighten, the first laser to combine nanosecond and picosecond pulses to treat a broader range of tattoo inks and skin types, and AviClear, still the only FDA-cleared long-term acne therapy for all skin types.
Pivotal in developing the highest repetition rate femtosecond laser at IntraLase, which paved the way to all-laser LASIK.
